NZTA (New Zealand Transport Agency) used “Flying Objects”, a television commercial launched in early 2012, to challenge the carelessness shown by drivers who creep above the speed limit at a level where they still consider themselves to be driving safely. The audience is shown a crash at slow speed, and challenged to consider the impact of a sudden stop on their bodies. Even with the best protection, you are still vulnerable. The Flying Objects commercial won a Bronze Film Craft Lion for visual effects at Cannes International Festival of Creativity 2012.
